Valentinian I (AD 364-375), AV Solidus (4.33g/ 20mm). Nicomedia, 10th Officina, struck c. 364-367, D N VALENTINIIANVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. RESTITVTOR REPVBLICAE, emperor in military dress standing facing, head right, grounded labarum inscribed with Christogram in right hand, Victory on globe in outstretched left hand, SMNI in exergue.
